Three workflows, one extension

From booking to review,
all in one place.

Turn repetitive steps across EF pages into three focused, reliable workflows.

Follow favorite teachers

Select one or more favorite teachers and show only their class cards, cutting down repeated searching and filtering.

Add classes to your phone

Import confirmed classes into your phone calendar with a 30-minute reminder, while waitlisted classes stay clearly marked and receive no class alert.

Export lessons as notes

Turn lesson-video subtitles, words and phrases into Markdown notes you can open and review whenever you need them.

Waitlist-aware calendar

Waitlisted should never look confirmed.

Calendar exports mark waitlisted classes as tentative and repeat the warning in the title and description, so you do not travel to a class you never actually booked.

Visible title: adds “⚠️ [WAITLIST]” before the class name.
Machine-readable state: writes TENTATIVE and a waitlist category to the ICS event.
Plain-language warning: reminds you that the booking is not confirmed.

How it works

Start in three steps

STEP 01

Install the extension

The current beta supports Chrome and Edge. Request access and follow the installation instructions in the reply.

STEP 02

Open an EF page

The extension only runs on relevant EF center-class and self-study pages, adapting to the page you are viewing.

STEP 03

Choose your workflow

Filter classes, capture your calendar, or export the current lesson. Files are saved directly to your computer.

Local-first privacy

Your class data stays local

Class cards, subtitles and filter settings are read and processed by the extension in your browser. They are not uploaded to Miora or a third-party server.

  • Access limited to the EF pages the features require
  • Download permission used only for ICS and Markdown exports
  • No collection of class content, teachers or learning history
Independent product

Not an official EF product

EF Course Helper is an independent third-party learning utility developed by Miora. It is not affiliated with, authorized by, or endorsed by EF Education First or EF English Live. EF and related marks belong to their respective owners.

FAQ

Questions, answered

During beta, we are actively tracking EF page changes and improving compatibility.

Is it paid?

The beta is free. We will validate stability and real demand before deciding whether to add optional paid Pro features; the core local workflows will not suddenly stop working.

Which browsers are supported?

Google Chrome and Microsoft Edge desktop versions with Manifest V3 support.

Why do calendar events show a waitlist warning?

A waitlist is not a confirmed booking. The extension preserves that status so your calendar does not make an unconfirmed class look booked.

Does it download or store lesson videos?

No. Lesson export only organizes readable subtitles and key phrases into a Markdown study note.
